Jeremy Wood's and Jim Righter's pages are up!

Jeremy Wood's page up was two days ago and Jim Righter's page is being published today.

Jeremy believes Yale influenced him in a different way than others in the class. He began architecture school with students who experienced the unhappy transition between the Rudolph and Moore regimes. Visiting Professor Charles Gwathmey overheard their complaints, and he told them they could either leave or make the best of the situation. He also told them that to learn architecture they needed to build, which led a group of them to build a week-end house in Vermont, a year before the first, First-Year Building Project.

Jim’s and Sandy’s years at Yale provoked a major shift from privilege and shelter to a new world of greater cultural and social awareness, all tied to architecture. In addition, unlike most classmates, Jim and Sandy had kids, and the tumultuous times affected the children as well. The friendships made with classmates and faculty made all the difference.
